Inspiration — Tara Donovan
From her first solo exhibition at New York’s Ace Gallery, Tara Donovan found success in the creation of objects and landscapes constructed using the most mundane of materials - elevating them to an almost ethereal level. Her tendency toward the use of clear materials allows light to animate her sculptures engaging the viewer on a deeply emotional level, and shows that with imagination any object can be transformed into something both beautiful and transfixing.
